Ateliér A8000 has been one of the leading Czech architectural studios for more than three decades** and today has its base not only in Prague, but also in Brno and České Budějovice. It combines values such as strong author’s work, emphasis on artistic concept and sense of space, which individual projects do not lack. This is what creates the recognizable A8000 handwriting, which we will sooner or later be able to find abroad.
It is not only the aforementioned specifics that make up Ateliér A8000. For about a year and a half now, Tabidoo – one place for all data and business applications – has also been an integral part of the architecture studio. Who would have guessed that an initial application created on the tram on the way from home to work would today already be a robust system that manages the entire company.
Daniel Srch, CEO of Ateliér A8000, came to the company years ago with one purpose – to contribute to the development of the studio not only architecturally, but also operationally. After his arrival, he found that the latter side was a bit lacking. The functioning of the information systems was not much different compared to other firms, data was scattered across various excel spreadsheets or something was being administered on other IT platforms. Needed to put everything in one place, under one roof.
But at the same time he was looking for something that would be viable in the long term, that would grow with the company, be affordable and user friendly. Thanks to a visit to a trade fair about digitalisation, the picture was clear. That’s when the joint story began to be written, with Atelier A8000 and Tabidoo playing the main roles.

At the beginning, it was necessary to look at processes, roles and responsibilities. That’s why Daniel Srch first of all created an application that would support the overall efficiency of the work. Therefore, a comprehensive CRM system was created, and soon an HR module or an application for order processing was also created.
Over the past year, however, Ateliér A8000 has grown, the Prague office has moved to larger premises in Holešovice, the team has expanded and the studio is one step closer to its planned expansion abroad. However, with the growth also comes the need to unify the team, to keep data and recruitment in order at all times, and much more emphasis on minimising potential chaos.
The original CRM system, the foundations of which were practically laid on a public transport journey from home to work, has become a robust solution that now manages the entire company. A number of key models have been made operational, including a helpdesk, a professional register, a subcontract ordering application and a project management application, which are among the most central modules of the studio’s operation.

From Tabidoo, the core of the company-wide information system was created in a year and a half. Daniel Srch, CEO of A8000, considers the following to be key:
